its because you are arguing the other points. You should only bring up that part. i mean, why say anything about the other stuff if you only want to discuss your ban reason and the appeal of it?

I was only giving the reason behind my snarky comment in chat, I didn't intend or mean to cause any kind of arguments about it.
I only thought that you should have to know where that snarky comment came from, as it was merely an emotional reaction and not purely provocative in anyway.
